Today, plastic bottles are used in many aspects of packaging such as for healthcare products, cosmetics bottles, etc. The search for environment friendly, cost competitive and efficient production material has been increasingly called for. TPC views Polypropylene plastic bottle packaging as one of the important market segment. To fulfil these needs, COSMOPLENE® W331 is the latest development by TPC for use in Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM). This new material has a few great features to offer. Firstly, it allows lower processing temperature yet maintaining its good processability. Secondly, with its random copolymer base, it is able to obtain a high transparency without the aid of clarifying agents. COSMOPLENE® W331 can also be subjected to sterilization (standard autoclave) without loosing its dimensional stability. COSMOPLENE® W331 would be an ideal material for all polypropylene plastic bottle packaging.
